How to participate ?

  • Download the Massif Cantalien application : challenges are available by clicking on the "Challenges" tile. If you wish to be guided to the start of the course, in the "Details" tab of the course page, click on "Go to the start".

  • Near the start of the course, open the course page. In the "Challenge" tab, click on "Go". When you pass close to the start beacon, your smartphone will interact directly with the beacon to start the stopwatch. As long as it hasn't started, the "Go!" button will blink. When the stopwatch starts, your smartphone will vibrate and emit a ringing tone (remember to turn up the volume!). The next point to be validated will then flash; it will be displayed in green once validated. Put the smartphone in your bag and let's go!
  • Stopping the stopwatch: when you reach the last beacon, validating your passage automatically stops the stopwatch. A last beep sounds and the last dot changes colour.
  • Recording your stopwatch: once your stopwatch has stopped, all you have to do is follow the instructions to publish your stopwatch and enter the ranking. You can also choose to share your stopwatch with your friends by email, sms or on social networks. If you are in an area without a network connection, don't panic! Your Challenge will remain in memory until you publish it or reset it. You can close the application and re-open it later to quietly publish your Challenge when you get home! You will then appear in the ranking. You will also have a history of your times on the same page.
