Start at Place de l'Eglise. Take rue Cap del Lioc, then the path to Castel Viel.
At the intersection, turn right (a slight variation is possible with a round trip to the Cascade de la Conche - 15 min walk - then return to the intersection).
Continue along the path towards Castel Viel, where you'll find your first viewpoint.
Follow the path up towards Rocher de Maisonne; after a steep climb, you'll enjoy a panoramic view of the Cère valley.
At the crossroads, the path continues along the ridge and then into the undergrowth, joining a gravel track after a flat area, which leads to La Garde.
Go around the house at La Garde (alternative: return trip to the top of the Rocher de St Curial: approx. 30 min).
Turn right again to reach a chicane. Be careful to stay
on the "Grotte des Anglais" PR (common intersection with "La Ronde de Salilhes").
The PR descends into the meadow before entering the forest. After a steep descent, the path veers right to reach the Grotte des Anglais.
At the next crossroads after the grotto, follow the path up to the Rieu Sec on the right.
Return to Vic-sur-Cère on the Chemin de Roquelongue, opposite the Chapelle du Calvaire.

Good plans : The Grotte des Anglais is a natural cavity in the rock, said to have been used as a shelter by Protestants during the Wars of Religion. Before reaching it, you'll enjoy fine views over the Cère valley and the Monts du Cantal, passing through forests and summer meadows at 1000m altitude.

Delicate passages : Difficult, steep ascent at the start of the trail. Be careful in wet weather, as the ground can be slippery.
