The walking trail begins in a small enclosed garden called the “Vestiaire du Berger” in the village of Pailherols. This marks the symbolic starting point for a climb to the summer pastureland.
The 10 kilometre circuit is unique thanks to the installation of 40 white, abstract fences along the way. A commissioned work of art by a French artist called Camille Henrot, that pays tribute to this land, people and traditions.
